Job Description

WeldFit is looking for a motivated and responsible Shipping and Receiving Clerk, to perform shipping/receiving duties and process related paperwork by performing the following tasks.

• Receives and inspects incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages and reports problems promptly to the appropriate person.
• Signs for incoming deliveries, loads and unloads delivery trailers/trucks by hand or with material handling equipment as needed.
• Performs transactions including closing out orders, shipping and receiving of product in the E2 operating system.
• Prepares items accurately for shipment according to customer orders/instructions by retrieving from the warehouse, packaging, weighing on a scale and documenting correct shipment details.
• Reports shipping and receiving details to the appropriate department on a regular and timely basis.
• Stores materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment.
• Maintains shipping and receiving documentation in a neat and orderly manner.
• Maintains the warehouse and receiving area in a safe and orderly manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend and climb
• Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• High Level of manual dexterity
• Good mechanical aptitude

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience shipping/receiving experience required
• Prior E2 experience is a plus
