Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Assembly Support)
Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips or purchase orders; process materials into inventory.
Prepare outgoing shipments by securely packing, labeling, and arranging carrier pickups/drop-offs.
Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and discrepancies.
Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely inbound and outbound freight.
Support assembly operations during slow shipping periods, assisting with product assembly, packaging, and labeling.
Conduct periodic inventory counts, reconcile records, and help improve warehouse organization and storage efficiency.
Report damaged or non-conforming items and follow established procedures for resolution.
Operate forklifts and follow warehouse safety/accuracy procedures.
Utilize ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience preferred) and shipping/inventory software to manage workflow.
Previous shipping/receiving and warehouse experience required; assembly experience, Lean practices, and strong communication/teamwork skills are a plus.
