We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient care team. This is a full-time travel assignment in a clinical outpatient setting, with an immediate need for candidates who can start ASAP.

Shift: Days (8hours/day, 5days/week) 8:00 am- 4:30 pm Monday- Friday
Work Location: Upstate Health Care Hospital

Key Responsibilities:Perform essential patient care functions with minimal supervision.
Welcome patients, escort them to exam rooms, and prepare for physician evaluations.
Take and record vital signs and monitor patient progress.
Assist physicians during exams and procedures (e.g., injections, pap smears).
Set up trays, administer injections, and maintain cleanliness in clinical areas.
Manage front-office responsibilities: appointment scheduling, filing, and chart prep.
Secure insurance authorizations and coordinate referrals.
Accurately document care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Observe and report patient responses to care; contribute to nursing care plans.
Participate in routine unit operations and administrative duties.
Active LPN License in New York State.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Immediate availability preferred.
