This position is for an Interventional Radiology Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment, specifically within the Interventional Radiology and Pain Management departments. The role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, adherence to strict scheduling and on-call requirements, and the ability to float between facilities as needed. A minimum of two years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures and pain management treatments.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the physician.
- Assisting with procedures as needed.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participating in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
- Floating to other facilities within the hospital system as needed.
- Wearing lead shielding as required.
- Utilizing Cerner charting system.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Experience with Interventional Radiology and/or Pain Management preferred.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Special Considerations:
- Mandatory float pool participation across Radiology and Pain Management departments.
- On-call rotation: Weekday nights (12 AM - 8 AM), weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (2 weekends per month).
- Maximum of 5 days of Request Time Off (RTO), with no more than 2 consecutive days, and no RTO on weekends or holidays.
- Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
- Lead apron use required.
Scheduling:
- 5 eight-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
- No block scheduling.
- On-call rotation assigned weekly.
- Occasional weekend day shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) may be required.
