Growing together.** You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Lead Analytics Projects Independently: Deliver high-quality analytics solutions with minimal supervision, following clear objectives and timelines + Design and Maintain Data Infrastructure: Build robust data models and ETL pipelines to support scalable analytics and reporting frameworks + Effective Analytics architect: Apply understanding of the mechanics and user flow within a data set and dashboard + Leverage Advanced SQL Skills: Write efficient, optimized SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate complex datasets + Promote Systems Thinking: Approach problems with a systems-oriented mindset, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term goals + Communicate Insights Clearly: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise business insights through strong written and verbal communication + Navigate Between Strategy and Detail: Seamlessly shift between high-level concepts and granular data to drive informed decision-making + Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, end users, and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver actionable, data-driven insights You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications** + High School Diploma / GED (or higher) + 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or analytic engineer role + 5+ years of experience with SQL programming, relational databases, data management, and data warehousing + 3+ years of experience in reporting, data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and analytical interpretation **Preferred qualifications:** + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field + Experience with healthcare data, including but not limited to claims and eligibility datasets + Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or Snowflake + Strong understanding of systems thinking and its application in data engineering + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
