AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Software Developer Intern – Summer 2026 to join our Denver, CO office.

Our Internship Program, Explore, is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it’s like to work in a professional environment and apply what’s learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with project team and client staff to identify and develop web-based products that meet specific requirements
- Support efforts at all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Compile data and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in requirement refinement and product planning
- Monitor software’s performance, providing support and addressing any operational issues
- Create and maintain product documentation for both technical and non-technical staff
Qualifications
• EXPERIENCE:
+ No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION:
+ Must have completed 60 hours towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or be enrolled in a Master’s program in Information Systems from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
• SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Experience with C#, .NET platform, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL server database, and HTML
- Web application development experience in .NET using ASP.Razor (highly preferred)
- Ability to use API-based integration with LLMs
- Ability and willingness to learn other skills not exposed to as yet
- Should have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Expected compensation range is between $23 - $29 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
